Léa Marion-Nély

Léa Marion-Nély

Léa Marion-Nély began her musical studies with the violin at the Lyon Conservatory. It was later that she decided to take up the flute. She quickly reached a similar level in both disciplines and continued to refine her playing on both instruments. She therefore chose to make music her profession.

At age 18, she earned her Baccalauréat and her three musical studies diplomas in the following disciplines: violin, flute and music theory. Her entry into the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne in 2015, where she trained under José-Daniel Castellon, Loïc Schneider, A. Moreau-Zardini and S. Latour, proved decisive: she decided to dedicate herself exclusively to the flute.

In 2018, she continued her training in an Orchestra Master's. Since then she has regularly performed with the Sinfonietta de Lausanne orchestra, under D. Reiland. The following year she passed the audition to become an additional player with the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne.

Alongside her studies, Léa Marion-Nély teaches flute and music initiation classes. In 2022, she earned her Master's in Pedagogy.

Beyond her passion for orchestral playing and teaching, she also has a taste for chamber music. During her studies, she formed the Trio Utopia and the Duo Caméléon. It is with the Duo Caméléon, blending theatre and music, that she created the show "Halgar et la princesse". She also performs as a soloist under G. Colliard.
